Building a Dollhouse- Exterior Walls

This is going to be a multi-part series all about building a cardboard dollhouse. Today will be about the process of building the exterior walls of the house.

This is the front wall. I cut out a rectangle of cardboard and cut out the windows. I used navy blue paint to paint the wall. I cut out rectangles and squares of cardboard, glued them together and added brown yarn and flowers. I used scrapbook scissors to cut the trim out of white paperboard. To make the shutters, I had cut out rectangles if cardboard and painted the white.

Here is a closer look at the window and door.

These are the side walls for the dollhouse. I painted them the same color as the front of the house.

That is it for the exterior walls. Be sure to check back for more of this series. Don’t forget to like, comment, follow, comment, and share with your friends, family, coworkers, and classmates.
