Knitting: Part 3

The Knit Stitch

This knitting lesson will teach you how to do the knit stitch.  This will add length or width to your project.  This is an easy craft.

Prerequisites:

Knitting : Part 1

Knitting: Part 2

Supplies:

– Knitting Needles

– Yarn

Step 1:   In this step you will need to insert the right needle into the first stitch that is on your left needle.  Cross the working yarn in between and duck the needle under.

Step 2.  Now, you need to drop the stitch that is on the left needle.  This means that you need to slip the stitch/loop off of the needle and be done with the stitch.  You will continue doing this until you reach the last stitch.  Knit the last stitch. A95CCE1E-A3AF-48EC-837E-843A01864A94

Step 3.   Since the last stitch has been knit, you need to switch the needles you need to take the needle that was in the left and put it in the right and vice versa.

Step 4.  Repeat Step 1-3 until the project is your desired length.  When the project is your desired length refer to to continue.
