Working Barbie Doll Lamp Post

Supplies Needed:

  • 3 plastic tubes
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Nightlight in the shape of the top of a lamp post
  • Small candy box or another small box (approximately 1  1/2″  x  1  1/4″)
  • Small flameless tea candle
  • Small wooden circles
  • Hot glue/ hot glue sticks

Step 1: Take the top part of the nightlight off*.

*Parental permission required

Step 2: Glue the 3 plastic tubes onto a small wooden circle.

Step 3: Glue the plastic tubes onto the bottom of the nightlight as shown below.

Step 4: Glue many small wooden circles onto each other and then glue them to the bottom of the plastic tubes as shown. This step is to add height to the lamp post so add as many wooden circles as you need to make it the right height for your dolls.

Step 5: Add the flameless tea candle to the top of the lamp post with a small amount of hot glue, making sure you are able to turn it on and off.

Step 6: Add the small box to the bottom of the lamp post.

Step 7: Paint the lamp post, not painting the night light part of the project.
